C++ Developer (OpenGL)

Project for a world leading location data and technology platform company. Key supplier for all major car manufacutres.
In the project you will work on a versatile map rendering solution for native platforms offering fully interactive maps. Able to combine multiple data sources such as vector tiles, raster tiles, GeoJSON, 3D objects and others.
Represented by a set of libraries that offer high-level APIs for visualization use cases.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years of object-oriented programming languages (TypeScript preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of C++ (C++11, 14)
• Mastery with data structures & core libraries
• Strong math skills, particularly linear algebra and geometry
• Experience with 3D graphics, preferably Direct3D or OpenGL
• Understanding of Rendering principles: camera, rendering pipeline, positioning
• Knowledge of the following: linux, git
• Familiarity with Agile development, continuous integration, and modern testing methodologies
• Willing to work in a team-based culture
• Self-motivated
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in the geolocation area (navigation services)
• Experience with error tracking tools, e.g. JIRA
• Knowledge of three.js, yarn, npm, webpack, typescript

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, maintain and improve our software
• Track test results and defects in relevant tools/databases and pro-actively take on new challenges by learning new tools and environments
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
• Participate in open source projects: ensure clear communication and collaboration as well as easily maintained code is produced
• Design and own rendering features end to end
