Architect - AWS & Software Architecture Expert

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect with a strong background in AWS architecture, including expertise in RDS, Elasticache, EC2, and Docker. 

The ideal candidate will be hands-on in building event processing systems, architecting code, conducting code reviews, designing microservices, and implementing security measures.

This role requires an individual who possesses outstanding knowledge of software and application design and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AWS Architecture Mastery: 

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS services like RDS, Elasticache, EC2, and Docker.
• Optimize and maintain existing AWS infrastructures, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

2. Software Development and Architecture:

• Lead the development of event processing systems and microservices architecture.
• Architect robust and scalable code structures, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.

3. Security and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain security protocols and standards across all software and infrastructure projects.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and vulnerabilities to ensure systems are safeguarded against potential threats.

4. Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align architecture and technology decisions with business objectives.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

5. Test-Driven Development (TDD):

• Champion the use of TDD in the software development lifecycle, ensuring robust and reliable code.
• Promote and implement best practices in software testing and quality assurance

Tech stack:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in AWS architecture, including RDS, Elasticache, EC2, and Docker.
• Strong experience in building event processing systems, microservices architecture, and conducting code reviews.
• Demonstrable knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
• Proficiency in TDD and software quality assurance best practices.
