How you will spend your time:
As an eCommerce Platform Engineer at edrone, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to our mission of providing seamless eCommerce solutions.
Your role will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Build and maintain applications, extensions, or modules on top of popular eCommerce platforms.
- Ensure these solutions are scalable, efficient, and tailored to meet the needs of our clients.
- Conduct thorough research on different eCommerce platforms to understand their capabilities, limitations, and how they can be integrated with our tools.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in eCommerce technologies.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation outlining the integration processes, guidelines, and best practices.
- Develop clear and concise instructions for both internal teams and clients to facilitate smooth integrations.
- Act as a primary point of contact with eCommerce platform providers.
- Negotiate and communicate effectively to establish partnerships or gain insights that benefit our integration processes.
- Work closely with other engineering teams, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure a cohesive approach to client solutions.
- Provide technical insights and support to other team members as needed.
- Rigorously test all developed integrations to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and reliability.
- Address and resolve any technical issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to gather feedback on integration experiences.
- Use this feedback to continuously improve our integration processes and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously seek ways to improve our integration processes and tools.
- Contribute to the innovation of new features and functionalities that enhance our eCommerce solutions.
Who you are:
- You are experienced in building applications, extensions, or modules on eCommerce platforms.
- You are proficient in PHP and JavaScript.
- You have strong communication skills for liaising with platform providers.
- You are proficient in English
It’s nice if you have:
- Experience with Vue, HTML/CSS, Git.
- Familiarity with Java, AWS, TypeScript, XState, Node.js.
