Senior JVM Developer

Description:

We work on high end / high performance / high throughput systems for intime analysis of data for autonomous driving and other big data applications

Requirements:

• Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical degree
• Excellent understanding of JVM Languages (Java Scala Kotlin)
• Solid know-how of at least one additional programming or scripting language (C++, Python)
• At least 5 years of experience in Java Backend development, more than 2 years as a lead developer or SW architect
• Able to work across the full SW live cycle form design to test
• An eye for clean, testable, maintainable, and performant code
• Proven experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure)
• Good understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL)
• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for Agile/Scrum
• Very good spoken and written English, speaking German is a plus
• Prior sales or project management experience is an advantage
