Software Requirements Engineer

In our projects we are focusing on C/C++ in both embedded and higher level development in an automotive industry domain. As a Requirement Engineer you will support the creation of software for Automotive Gateway, ICAS and Body Control Module in close cooperation with a customer. Your task will be to create SW requirements for cutting-edge solutions providing valuable input for the team in whole requirement related part of V-Model.

Requirements:

• Former professional experience (IT Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Software Developer, Software Tester, Product Manager or similar)
• Engineering background (Computer Science, Electronics, IT Project Management)
• Practical ability to read code
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle tools (Preferably: JIRA, FishEye, Perforce)
• Proven knowledge or experience in Requirements Engineering process and tools.
• Knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC), software engineering, software development process (waterfall, V-model, agile), and modelling languages (UML, BPMN)
• Understanding of the customers and users needs and problems
• Capability to analyze technical problems
• Soft skills: open-minded, communication, analytical thinking, conflict resolution, moderation, negotiation, self-confidence
• Good language skills (English)

Job Responsibilities:

• Support for development and integration team
• Analysis of stakeholder requirements
• Creation of Software Requirements documents (SWR) based on provided System Requirements (SyR) and end customer requirements (STR)
• Active participation in regular meetings, reviews and workshops
• Communication with the customer (clarification, issue analysis)
